How to Choose Your Adviser & How We Choose Our Clients

How to choose a planner

A good financial planner will listen to you and develop a strategy that you can follow to achieve your goals.  He or she will also be someone you like and trust and makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Financial Planning is about having a road map to achieve your own financial goals, be they retirement, pay off your mortgage, build an investment portfolio, provide for children’s education.

A good Financial Plan will also have ancillary benefits such as minimizing the amount of tax that you pay.

A good plan will detail the steps you need to take, provide you with review points along the way.  Most importantly it will allow you to sleep well at night knowing that your investment plans suit your personality type.

A good plan will be presented in a manner that you understand and will not be based on products, but rather on strategies and actions.

How we choose a client

Just as not everyone we meet wants to be a client, we also screen potential clients ourselves.

This is not to sound cocky, but for 2 reasons:

1)      We don’t want to waste your time and money; and

2)      We don’t want to waste our own time either.

When we first meet we discuss your views on a number of areas and if we don’t think we can help, we will tell you straightaway.

We don’t have sales quotas, run out sales or targets to meet.

We are looking for clients that:

Are willing to act on the advice we give;

Recognize that we should be remunerated for the services we provide; and

Are looking for a long term financial planning relationship, not a one off transaction.

If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to give us a call on (07) 5577 8653 or drop us an email at admin@bronsonfs.com.au
